Capital Punishment Deterrent for Crime

                     Capital Punishment has the potential to save the world from a lot of stress.  Capital Punishment, also known as the death penalty, is where a criminal is put to death if his crimes are serious enough.   Throughout the world and through time, this has been a very popular topic for debates.  Some people think that it is right, and others think that killing a criminal can still be justified as murder.   I believe that capital punishment is completely necessary.  I think that the Death Penalty should be allowed in the entire world because it saves money, makes the community safer, gets rid of dangerous criminals, and it is humane.

                     A lot of money is payed every year to keep criminals alive in prison.  This is a ton of money that is basically just wasted.  This money only goes towards keeping the prisoner alive in prison.  They prisoner is not doing anything while in prison, so why keep him alive?  If we executed criminals with serious offenses, then we could be saving money all around the country, and even the world.  The cost to kill someone by lethal injection is very cheap compared to the amount of money that it would take to keep them alive.

                     If you were a criminal and learned that another criminal was just executed via the capital punishment, would you be deterred to not commit crime?  I think that the majority of

you would.  The Death penalty would scare criminals into not committing crimes, therefore making neighborhoods and cities alike safer.

                     There is always a possibility that a prisoner could escape from prison, it may be small, but there is a chance. If we had the chance to eliminate that chance, we could potentially be saving lives.  Escaped prisoners almost always commit more crimes, crimes as serious, or more serious than the ones they got put away for.  If we disposed of them in prison, then there would never be a chance for them to escape, hence saving more lives.

                     Capital punishment is a humane process.  It is just lethal injection and the criminal usually feels little or no pain.  The Death Penalty would be a good way to make the community safer, while giving the prisoners a peaceful way out of this life.

                     Capital punishment is a great thing, and if utilized in the right way, could lead to many benefits.  Prisoners are kept alive and may have nothing better to do than live with the guilt of what they have done until they die.  That is what I call cruel and unusual.  Amen.

                           

Style Academy

I do not think that I will be using Style Academy a lot. Because, based off the videos, it was all very common knowledge for me.  When he had us make a new sentence out of the three, I  came up with one near the same as the original writer, but in my opinion, better.  I feel that this is a website that would help high school kids as opposed to college.  Every once in a while though I might visit just to brush up on some things.

I think that anime is generalized into being watched only by weird people and I believe that anime can appeal to everyone.  Anime can be for all age groups. 

I don’t really know how to word this thesis but there’s the general idea.  Whenever says they watch anime I feel like they automatically get judged.  Regardless of anything else about them. They just become “one of those kids” in a way.

                           I am going to explain that all anime is not the same, just like all anime watchers are not the same. 

I will also talk about how most animes have really good messages to them.  I have actually, believe it or not, learned a lot of valuable lessons from some of the shows that I have watched. 

Animes are also works of art.  They are very beautiful and have great music. It takes a lot of work and skill to make them so don’t hate.

                           I will state the counterclaim that I agree that there are a lot of people who watch anime who are overweight and socially unacceptable. 

Mini skirt etc: I thought this article was very poorly written.  The arguments were very easily countered.  I feel like the author was too one sided and failed to acknowledge the other side.  Author was way too opinionated.
Wrestling:  I thought this was a very persuasive editorial.  It had many good factors to it that got me hooked.  A great starting sentence is essential to being a good essay/editorial.  Very well written.
Kiss:  Moderately good editorial.  Unclear of what was being argued but had some good points.

Free write

I have no idea what I will write my opinion editorial on.  So this free write is apparently supposed to help me find an idea.  Maybe I should write it on capital punishment.  I am very much for capital punishment.  I just makes sense.  Instead of wasting money and food on prisoners to waste away in a prison, why not get rid of them?  Or I could write on how people who watch anime are all categorized as weird overweight people.  That is only most of them.  I could be "original" and write about gay marriage, but half the class will probably write about that.  I could write about how video games are not bad for you, contrary to my mothers beliefs. I don't know what I will choose to write about but this free write was fun and I am out of things to say.
